I want to have the speaker panel (middle) to drop down and have a GPS behind. Oh and that shiny thing just below the radio opening is a B&M Megashifter. HU HU HU!

Dashboard plans:

I want to try to maintain as much of the stock appearance (I know the gauges don't look stock but I like them) as I can. So I have the original blank for the radio opening which I will install and put the stereo in the glove box (far right).

Believe it or not there is a speedometer in there.

In the obvious place is a Cyberdyne Blue Ice Speedometer/Tech combo and in the oval area to the right are Cyberdyne Blue Ice Oil, Temp, Fuel, Batt, and Trans. Temp. I will take a picture of it all lit up when I power up everything.

I still have some hooking up to do, but I could not resist lighting it up. The gauges dim when the headlights are turned on.

Cyberdyne Customer Service NOT!

When I started to install the sending unit for the speedometer the threads would not fit the GM gear housing (instructions says fits most GM, but obviously not automatics). I checked with BowTie Overdrive and Summit and found out the fitting where the speedometer cable goes (where the sending unit attaches) is 7/8 X 18. Summit says to call Cyberdyne and find out what the story is and according to summit it should fit. So I call Cyberdyne on MY dime and get a very nice lady that takes all my information and says she will check on it and get back to me. That was 2 weeks ago! All I wanted to know is what the thread pitch on their sending unit is. I found out my self it is 7/8 X 14. So I re-threaded the gear housing and it works. This is the only bad Customer Service I have run into so far. I guess it is "Buyer Beware" at Cyberdyne!
